With MC of your choice, make magic ring.
Round 1: Ch 3, 7 dc in magic ring – 8 sts.
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st as join, 2 dc in each st around – 16 sts.
Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in next st, *dc, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around – 24 sts.
Round 4: Ch 3, dc in next 5 dc, *dc 2, 2 dc in next dc; rep from * around – 30 sts.
Size 4-6: Work Expansion Round until you have 6 rounds total. Move to Slipper Foot.
Round 5: Ch 3, dc in same st, dc 14, 2 dc in next dc, dc 14 – 32 sts.
Size 7-9: Work Expansion Round until you have 6 rounds total. Move to Slipper Foot.
Round 6: Ch 3, dc 6, 2 dc in next dc, dc 15, 2 dc in next dc, dc 8 – 34 sts.

Slipper Foot
Begin working in rows (row numbering starts over at 1).
Row 1: Ch 3, dc 17 (19, 21) sts; turn, leaving the remaining 12 sts unworked.
Rows 2-12 (14, 16): Ch 3, dc in each dc; turn.
Fasten off. Sew back seam.
Repeat for second slipper.
Square (Make 2)
With first color, make magic ring.
