Gauge: Not crucial for this project, but mine was 19 sts and 15 rows = 4″ in sc back loop only

Pattern Notes
When working chart, work each stitch into the back loop only.
To change colors, work last st of current color to last 2 loops, draw new color through last 2 loops.
Join each round with a slip stitch (sl st) and pull tightly to reduce join. Also pull ch 1 tightly for new round.
Work chart twice for each rnd to have a gift bag with the design on both sides, or work once and work the rest of the sts in main color to only have design on one side.
Snowflake Tapestry Crochet Gift Bag Pattern
With MC, ch 56. Join to form ring, being careful not to twist.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around (56 sts).
Rnds 2-32: Follow chart, working in blo and joining with sl st. Ch 1 at beginning of each round.
Use CC for the next rnds.
Rnd 33: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, *ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next sc; repeat to last st, ch 1, skip last st, join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 34: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch-space around (56 sts).
Fasten off.
Finishing
To close bottom, flatten bag, then you can use a yarn needle to sew the seam shut or turn the bag inside out and use sl st to close the seam.
Weave in ends.
For tie, cut one long strand of yarn in each color of bag and thread the yarn through the ch-1 spaces of rnd 33. Trim off excess, pull tightly to close and tie.
